The Context
Matter Communications was relatively well known as a PR agency, but their integrated marketing team needed a bit of a boost. This campaign set out to more broadly introduce the world to the marketing arm of the agency while still keeping in line with the parent brand of the larger company. With an omnichannel approach, my task was to give our team a distinctive voice that helped us stand out from the crowd.
The Manifesto
Once upon a time, there lived a brand seeking a marketing agency — or was it a digital firm? A crew of creatives?
It doesn’t matter. And odds are, you‘ve already tuned out.
Because your brand is at an inflection point, and every company calling themselves an agency, firm or band of merry messengers just sells “storytelling.” What you really need is a partner who does more than just tell your story — someone who brings it to life, drives change for your organization and transforms your audience into brand evangelists.
With that, let us introduce: us. We’re Matter MKTG. We do stuff. The usual stuff. The cool stuff. The “holy hell, how’d you pull that off?” Stuff. All kinds of stuff: bespoke multichannel campaigns and comprehensive rebrands, custom-built websites and data-driven analytics dashboards, demand gen campaigns that demand attention and social moments that matter. Plus, tons of other stuff.
It’s stuff that captures, that converts, and that moves your brand out of tall-tale territory and into reality. Stuff that’s less “based on real events” and more like the real deal. Stuff that lights a fire under your audience, helps you imagine what’s possible, and drives your brand to heights you never conceived. You know, MKTG stuff.
